State seeks public comments, sets hearing for air permit on Atlantic Coast Pipeline project 

RALEIGH - The North Carolina Division of Air Quality today opens a public comment period for a minor source air 
quality permit for the proposed Northampton Compressor Station, which would serve the Atlantic Coast Pipeline project. 

If the air permit is approved, the compressor station would regulate operation of air emissions sources and air cleaning 
devices. The station is proposed to be at 718 Forest Road, Pleasant Hill in Northampton County. 

All public comments received by Nov. 20 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and 
pennit conditions. The draft pennit, application and related documents are available online 
at: . 

NC DEQ: Atlantic Coast Pipeline Project 

The Atlantic Coast Pipeline project proposes the installation of a natural gas pipeline that will run through eight 
North Carolina counties as it crosses the state ... 

Printed copies of these documents may be reviewed at the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Raleigh Regional 
Office. To obtain additional information or make an appointment to review documents at the Raleigh Regional Office,

Additionally, DEQ will hold a public hearing on the draft permit at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at Garysburg Town Hall, 504 Old 
Highway Road, Garysburg, N.C. 27831. Registration for those who wish to speak will begin at 5 p.m.
