An unsold television pilot called "Sea Divers". I'm not surprised this wasn't picked up, the production values would have been b-grade even for a syndicated show.

An unsold television pilot from 1961 called "Strictly for Laffs", in which comedians told jokes. Oddly, this pilot runs for 21 minutes, though the average show of the time lasted at least 24 minutes. Many people appear, including a few famous ones including Rose Marie, Alan Reed, and Moe Howard.

A very silly 1963 unsold pilot for a proposed sitcom called "Munroe". This is not "NET Playhouse" or "Playhouse 90". At 22 minutes, it is shorter than the average sitcom of the era. Print is very shaky/unsteady.

An unsold TV pilot from 1963 called "The Plot Thickens". Same concept as the early 1950s series "Crawford Mystery Theatre" (of which only a single kinescope survives...anyone able to upload it?). In this pilot, a panel is shown a short film about a crime, and then has to guess who the guilty person is. Features Groucho Marx as one of the panel members.

A bizarre 1952 TV pilot for "The Spike Jones Show", a comedy/variety show. The pilot was not picked up, but Spike Jones did eventually host a series on TV: In 1954 he hosted a mid-season replacement, in 1957 he hosted a summer replacement, and in 1961 he hosted yet another series.

An episode of "The Frankie Laine Show", featuring Patti Page and Tommy Dorsey. According to someone on YouTube, this is an unaired pilot for a series which was never produced. Perhaps one of the oldest unsold pilots you'll ever see....

I have no idea what this is, except that it isn't the DuMont show. A children's game show with Paul Winchell. It seems to be from 1962 based on a search on Google books. Probably a pilot. Also, this copy is incomplete, missing part of the opening and some of the contestant introductions. May have been intended as a daytime show based on the brief running time. I'll never understand how failed pilots can survive when entire runs of actually-aired TV series are lost.

Unsold pilot starring Groucho Marx and George Fenneman. This is a comedy talk show with a game show element thrown in. Guests include a woman who wants to be president, two women who want husbands who love cats, and celebrity guest William H. Parker (police chief). Although this pilot didn't sell, it has a lot in common with a series which did make it to air called "Tell it to Groucho". I do not know if this is truly public domain.

Said to be an unsold television pilot from 1951. Starring the great early TV personality Dagmar, along with Art Carney, Robert Emhardt, Enid Markey, Jack Sheehan, Ben Lackland and Donald Curtis. It over-runs the 30-minute time-slot considerably.

Here's something so bad it makes "Queen for a Day" look like "Masterpiece Theatre". It is an unsold television pilot from 1954, for a game show called "Pass the Line" in which an artist slowly draws a picture in ten steps, and each step is copied by a panel of "celebrities" (one of which is Jonathan Winters!). At the end of the incredibly awful pilot, the host and some other guy directly speak to the networks telling them why they should pick up the...
