I got myself a little Portabee Go for when I need to lug around a printer for a reason or another. Unfortunately, due to the small size, it lacks an extrusion fan to cool down the print, leaving a hot mess on small/short layers. So i designed this removable fan that can be secured in place with a single screw (i use a nylon stilt). Enjoy.

This is to move the extruder from the carriage to the side of the right base. Longer 6mm thread rods might be neccessary depending upon your actual portabee. This is for the original portabee-kit. The bowden tube mounting plate from the printrbot conversion was utilized to make this bracket but shifted off-center slightly to more closely meetup with the offset extruder. This uses the existing extruder. I'm using the printrbot bowden conversion hot-end mount drilled out slightly to fit an...

I have this little Portabee Go as my go to travel printer, unfortunately figuring out how to hold a spool in a hotel room is surprisingly challenging. I created this spool holder a while back for this specific purpose, but it was heavy, bulky and didn't really work as well as I was hoping. So I created this one, which works even with the big 1Kg spools. To assemble you will need - 8x M3 x 20 socket screws - 8x M3 square nuts Notes - The four socket screws on the spindle do not need to be...

You need a small tip for this 0.2-0.3mm to print the holes for this properly though I have successfully printed with 0.5mm and drilled the holes through afterward. This takes a while to cool down so give it a few minutes on the bed after printing

Portabee 3d printer - modified Z-coupler. The Z-coupler on this model of printer is prone to breakage. This is a simple rounded off top piece, doing away with the hex flats. I have not printed this yet. It was a quick edit in Blender3d. At the moment i do not have a picture of this. As soon as i print it i'll upload one. edit.... printed out a batch of 3 at 40% infill.

Take your Portabee to the next level! I just discovered these printer plates http://printinz.com/140mm-x-140mm-printer-plate/) and adhesion and print removal is no longer something I have to think about! (I am not affiliated with them, just a really satisfied customer) These clips will secure the printer plate to your print bed.

A remix of Igor's cooling fan frame for Portabee printer. This one mounts using the bottom screw on the extruder (which has enough length originally for it). It seems a better fit than the long original which needs to be mounted on the spring-screws. Same 40mm size fan was used, I connected it to the original 20mm fan's slot and connected that one to the extra fan slot. This way filament is cooled all the time while the print gets cooled only after the initial layers. Klapton tape required...

If you have a "mirrored" switch come in with your Portabee, the z-endstop can be very tricky. This is a modified z-endstop holder which can solve the problem. Note that a longer screw is required to tighten it properly.

Simple 3 part leg set for increasing the stability of the Portabee-kit 3d printer. The standard printer has issues with possibly falling over when printing at height due to its "take-apart" design. Since i'm not trying to keep this portable and able to be stuffed into a laptop bag i'm adding these legs to help brace it. Print 2 legs and 1 glue plate per side. This slides over the 6mm threaded rods inbetween the base and the Y-carraige mounting. I tried the wide-base file on here, but...

I looked around, but couldn't find anything similar so I drew this up in FreeCad. Honey Bees keep their home warm at 35 Degrees, because this is their ideal temperature for raising brood. This can cause problems with moisture and ventilation is therefore important. This thing sits in the crown-board, where you would keep a Portabee Escape, and provides ventilation allowing moist air up into the roof, where it can escape without condensing and dripping into the combs. Enjoy!

i designed this pan tilt head in the course of my bachelor thesis for media-informatics at Vienna University of Technology The goal was to get highest angular precision for long-term timelapse photography. The device achieves a accuracy of 0.092° for tilt and 0.101° for the pan aixs. It is IP44 designed and should resist strong weather conditions if sealed accordingly. video showing the development process: https://vimeo.com/93193071 The pan tilt head is driven by 5V stepper motors and...
