This guide goes between the pinch wheels and the aluminum block of the Type A Machines Series 1 printer to prevent flexible PLA from not feeding properly. I was getting a lot of "mis-feeds" where the flexible filament was not stiff enough to be pushed through the extruder.

I reworked this from the ground up/ very similar to the original design but i made the air channel smaller allowing for a bit more pressure. This design also has a gap to allow for the heating element to not touch the fan mount. NOTE- this design has a tight tolerance so work the screws little by little to have this screw onto the series 1 properly.

Print the 'eye_window_DUAL_frame.stl' from Gowanus Monster to use with this. The frame is not 100% symmetrical top-to-bottom, so try the insert in both orientations to get best fit. NOTE: I removed the porthole insert since they added it to the main model downloads.

A beefy Type A Machines Auto Leveling Sensor Mounting Bracket. I didn't like the flimsy 2 mm thick brackets out there due to the ease at which they cracked when adjusting the sensor. Though it looks nearly identical in design to the one on the Type A Machines Page: https://www.typeamachines.com/hubfs/Sesnor%20Bracket.stl?t=1506877723216 I drew this from Scratch and doubled the thickness to 4 mm as well as opened the sensor hole a bit for easy threading.

I designed this fan mount for myself. Please note I don't think the design is great e.g. it fits really well, but the airflow is not great. I used proto pasta's HTPLA and heat treated the finished parts. Without High Temp PLA that is heat treated it will sag etc..
