I got some 10 mm acrylic glass (PMMA, a.k.a. plexi glass) from a donor. This material is not super easy to work with on a small cnc, as the chips tend to melt and clog the end mill resulting in breaking the bit. A solution is to reduce the spindle speed, ramp up the feed and make fast shallow passes. Some drops of water mixed with methylated spirits or washing-up liquid help to cool the cutter. This is lighting for your bed, works with all ply wood or acrylic frames, probably even aluminum frames. connect to 12 volt fan output on the mainboard. You can find this light at AutoZone, it comes with a cigarette lighter adapter, you will need to disassemble that to get to the switch and cord for the button, Than all you have to do is print the files and connect the button to the main board I did this with the extra wire that came with the light. Hello all, I got sick of using my phone light to illuminate my CR-10, so made this lamp to clamp onto the cross bar. It uses the guts of an IKEA Tvärs lamp (£2.75 in the UK). Based off of u/int2str's clip, I made this so the LED's wrap around the circumference of the build plate and I made the LED groove wider; I found it to be too narrow to mount the 10mm LED strip I have. I used a 10mm adhesive backed LED strip I purchased from amazon and just wired them in line hooked up to a rocker switch. This is the same design as the 1.5 inch truss pipe mount, but instead accepts a 38mm bolt and wingnut for clamping and easy removal. For pipes that are exactly 1.5 inches, wrapping the end once or twice with electrical tape will help improve clamping force and prevent twisting.

I just ordered a 12' tall lighting stand for stage/DJ lights. one of the pipe clamps was smashed to pieces when it arrived, and so I thought "this is a job for a 3d printer!!" version 2 update: So I printed out a copy of my original design, and discovered that after a 3 hour print, my pipe dimensions are actually: 1.625" for the bottom tube, then 1.5" inside that tube.
