We had a lot of fun, although there were technical woes aplenty, so please...

Welcome to a very special minisode of the Made for TV Mayhem Show. We got together to talk about Quentin Tarantino's amazing love letter to classic television, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. QT's film comes from the heart and pays a lot of respect to a golden era of TV, as he presents television as its own form of cinema. We hope you enjoy this one! Thanks for listening!

We went undercover, guys. It was awesome. We took a look at two great detective pilot TVMs, The House on Greenapple Road (1970), which would lead to the short lived series Dan August, and we also watched the second Harry-O pilot, Smile Jenny, You're Dead. We felt Marion Ord's pain and we fell in love with Zalman King! We hope you enjoy!

After threatening to do a podcast-spinoff dedicated to Trapper John M.D. , Amanda finally sat down and did it! In the debut episode, Amanda discusses Trapper 's pilot, it's connection to Medical Center and the beginning of TJ 's dance with reverse psychology. There are some hiccups, but lots of soundbites and gratuitous use of the series' incredible score to make it a little more tolerable! Amanda will be updating this spinoff monthly. Hope you enjoy!

We're just in time for a spooktacular look at two beloved Halloween specials. The Halloween that Almost Wasn't has a disco-battle with The Paul Lynde Halloween Special (not really), and we duke it out ourselves with some serious Skype issues, including a sound delay which makes the whole recording just a touch bit awkward. But our love of the season is in check, and so is the fake Paul Lynde chest hair, so give us a whirl, disco baby!

Based loosely on my unpopular "Compilation of Miscellaneous Footage" series of YouTube videos. This 3rd installment includes more classic TV clips, including an unusual and long clip which doesn't fit the expected preconception of 1950s TV. Plus clips from sitcoms, soaps, and 2 classic commercials! With footage from all 4 classic networks!

Episode 'Love Means Bananas' of the 70's sitcom-western "Dusty's Trail".
