The Dayton Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony for the 21 members of the 103rd Police Recruit Class at City Hall. The recruits attended six months of training at the Dayton Police Academy, including courses on the Ohio Revised Code, laws of arrest, firearms, problem oriented policing, defensive tactics, pursuit driving, cultural diversity, first aid and physical fitness.
