This is a spillway pipe-topper that I made to ease the transition of water flow in one part of my aquaponics system. I made it for my SLO (solids-lift overflow), but I suspect it would also be appropriate for use inside a bell siphon. As a fellow do-er of aquaponics, I have always had the trouble of my substrate getting under the PVC tube barrier that holds the substrate back from the bell siphon. So I decided to make a stand for large diameter PVC that will allow you to easily slip your large PVC tube into the base, and the base will keep the substrate from sneaking in under the bottom. There are holes and grooves to help prevent any anaerobic conditions from arising. Tolerances are at +0.03 in for the PVC tube diameter.

A small aquaponics box for hanging over an aquarium using hydrotons. Slot designed to fit over 3-4mm glass, but can be sized larger if needed. I was not too happy with having so many parts just to make a u-siphon so I designed this. I think it works a bit better than a standard u-siphon from pvc elbows, but I'm sure it depends on your input flows and exit pipes, like with most siphons. The "theoretical" sizes were really tight from the filament I used, so I messed around and determined the 103 scale was right for my printer to fit 1/2 inch PVC. I had fun designing this, so I plan on designing some more special elbows, etc....

This is a 3-part Aquaponics fish bowl topper for a 12" fish bowl with an 8" mouth. The three section clip together via an interference fit. It is driven by an airlift pump using a small air stone which clips into the bottom of the stand pipe. The top compartment is stuffed full of pond filter foam.

Attached find a new version of our original mason-jar filtration system. Unlike the original, a remixed mason jar lid is used to hold the in & out-flow tubes. These are 3D printed letters for labeling rafts. Deep Water Culture used in hydroponics and aquaponics uses plants in floating rafts. It can be hard to keep track of which raft is which especially when it is just sprouts that are hard to identify or different varieties of similar plants. Thing was designed as a submersible pump I recently bought didn't have any kind of plumbing that came with it for me to attach to my sprinkler. The 12mm inner diameter print pushes on pretty snugly onto the NEWA Micro MC230 submersible pump and the reducer accepts some 6mm outer diameter (4mm inner) delivery tubing.
