The god of this world (Satan) sees to it that falsehood and deception runs rampant. He loves those who believe his lies and are easy swayed from the gospel. He doesn't mind at all from people to be religious if he can mix a little error with it. II Pet. 3:16 says some "wrest" the scriptures to their own destruction. One of the most vicious and anti-Biblical doctrines a long this line is Premillennialism. The majority of so-called Christianity is "sold" on this false...

It Makes A Difference What We Believe. A very popular concept is it makes no difference what one believes in religion. We hear our religious friends say things like "Faith alone will save, just believe in the Lord". Many say, Sincerity is all that matters. ' Thus, it makes no difference what one believes, we are told. We are encouraged to "join the church of our choice. After all, "One faith is as good as another," it is thought. Good moral people are sometimes equated...

Faith is a holy, sacred, and to be kept. It has been passed down for us to treasure and share. If we discard faith it will not end...because it is not ours, it belongs to all the saints. We belong to faith, it does not belong to us. The art to keeping the faith is our responsibility, and is achieved through praying in the Holy Spirit and keeping ourselves in God's love as we wait for eternal life.

There are definitely problems in this world, but Jesus has come to reclaim identities. God has given a justice mission to the Church. We are not called to do it alone, we are called to do it together. You will be most tempted to quit when you are closest to your calling. Through breathtaking conversation change can happen.

When our pastor asks me to take speaking duties for a Sunday, I get so excited. I love the research and study put into each sermon. Coming up with personal stories relating to scripture is easy for me. Last Sunday, however, was a bit different. The text to cover was Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. No big deal, right? Just say what it means to live...
