Shirley Mullen is currently the President of Houghton College. She previously was the Provost at Westmont College, a position that she held from 2002 until 2006. While at Westmont she received the Outstanding Teacher Award three times. She has also held positions in a multitude of organizations, including being president of the Conference on Faith and history. She is a well published author, both having written her own book, as well as having authored articles in several Christian journals.
