Preaching the 1st Century Gospel in the 21st Century.
You might have missed the words while walking through Macy's in the middle of the night on Black Friday last week, but even by day- listen. "Christ by highest heav'n adored, Christ the ever lasting Lord." Strange words to provide background for shopping, but who is this Messiah that heaven is in love with? To get ready for Jesus' birthday celebration on the 25th we need to discover who he actually is. So let's take a journey to Christmas, and in this case we can't begin at the...
The angels asked the women coming to Jesus’ grave, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?”, in other words, “Why do you think and act like Jesus is dead, when He is alive?” We ask the church today the same question. (Please note: the first half-minute of the sermon is cut off […]
Deliverance from Anger EVERYONE needs to watch this video, because lots of people have anger and don't even know it. Clean your temple out. Spirits of anger come in with many other similar type spirits. Spirits of "fits of anger", strife, contention, jealousy, wrath, resentment, bitterness, hate, fighting, violence, and so on are very real. Yes, it sounds weird. It did to me as well. But I want you to remember the next time you start "fighting" with your wife or husband that...

The Vatican made a prediction there was going to be a lot of terrorism starting in the fall, it was September, 9-11. What do you think folks, is God a liar. He said it would be coming from Rome and that this would be the biggest, the most elaborate, the most powerful force and it talks about it in the Book of Revelation and in the Book of Daniel. That it would be Rome that is doing all these bad things in these last days.

We know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. Do you keep His commandments? Verse 4, He that sayeth I know Him and keepeth not His commandments is a liar. And the truth, Jesus is the way the truth and the life, and the truth, Jesus, is not in him. If Christ is not in you forget about going to the Kingdom of Heaven.

While the ark was preparing Noah was preaching 120 years to everybody. We don't want to be on the boat with that square Noah and his three brats and their wives and his old lady we'd rather drown and go to hell. Old fashioned dude, just preaching, that silly fool building a boat out there on dry land.

Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah. Christ who is the high priest after the order of Melchesidec who was never created He had no beginning no ending. His body had a temporary ending here, but then He rose from the dead and He ascended into the Kingdom of Heaven and now He lives forever.

We get people that want to use the church/mission as a crash pad and then we get very sincere people that are receiving the true doctrine of the Lord. The Lord isn't sad over phoneys that say they want to go to heaven but they don't do the works.

The Bible says that were not to know anybody but the Lord if we want to go to the Kingdom of Heaven and stay out of hell. He says in His word love not the world, because everything in the world is lust. The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life, everything.
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? ...to love mercy..." (Micah 6:8)
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 14
"… all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be…." Psalms 139
"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in...

Meditation by Fr. Cristian Laslo In today’s Gospel we meet Jesus praying in Gethsemane garden, where He is found by Judah and the Temple’s guard. Through a kiss Jesus is identified, caught, and brought in front of a illegitimate court. They are bringing him false testimonies, but He doesn’t collaborate with the vicious men. Revealing Himself as the Son of God, they accuse Him of blasphemy, and they are sending him at the Roman authority. When we read the end of chapter 14 in the Gospel...

In today’s episode of Refreshing Bread, Fr. Calin Tamiian is reflecting on God’s wisdom and our foolishness. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. We are fools when we are full of ourselves. Yet in the fear of the Lord we will find the true knowledge. Are we humble enough to let God guide us in this season of Lent and hear God’s voice in the voices of our brothers and sisters? Proverbs 1:1-20 Music: Lost Frontier by Kevin MacLeod...

In today’s episode of Refreshing Bread, Fr. Calin Tamiian meditates on the way Jesus resets the standards of Christianity by focusing on how important children are for our future. Jesus highlights the way in which we should pay attention to them, support them, encourage them, and guide them in their spiritual growth. Our busyness should not hinder our affection and attention to them but rather we should imitate Jesus’ appreciation and emphasis on how important they really are, because the...

In today’s episode of Refreshing Bread, Fr. Adrian Rosca speaks about wisdom as a “treasure of blessings.” Wisdom offers us life in God’s favor. This is the abundant life, this is the best life, this includes eternal life. Wisdom is knowing the perfect will of our loving God for every aspect and choice of life. It is the ability and knowledge of making decisions in every part of our life. Proverbs 8:32 - 9:11 Music: Lost Frontier by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

In today's episode of Refreshing Bread, Fr. Calin Tamiian meditates on how the Lord disciplines us. These moments are opportunities to grow. Discipline and some reproof although not pleasant in the moment, if done in love might bring good fruits in the end. Proverbs 3:1-18 Music: Lost Frontier by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

In today’s episode of Refreshing Bread, Fr. Ovidiu Marginean invites us to think at Judas’ story and the way in which Satan uses him as a tool to overcome God’s plan. Nevertheless, God’s plan and will is fulfilled through Jesus. In what ways can we relate this story in our lives? In what way is God’s plan better than our plans?
