As I slowly enclose my printer, I realized that the corners where the walls meet would be an ideal anchor point to tie down a platform on top to allow the hood to rest on. The anchors would also serve to help block in the fumes. I designed a triangular anchor that sits within the walls and is held in place by a wire passing through its center and up through a hole in the platform and back down another hole next to it to create tension.

I work in an environment where I can't babysit the 3D printers all the time. After fully upgrading our Replicator 2 with the extruder upgrades, glass build plate, and overhanging filament spool holder, I thought everything would be great, but we were still losing prints. The epiphany came when I was watching the printer in action and realized that the 3/8" threaded rod we were using as the support is -- get this -- __threaded__!! I watched as the filament slowly made its way to the extreme...

Using this clip you can move the CubeX z-limit sensor away from the heat and electronics. There is a kit sold online already that does basically the same thing. Except it isn't free and you have to wait for delivery. Use at your own risk.

A gauge printed at 0.3 layer height. Allowed me to instantly see whether the holes in the models I am drawing, would actually be the size I needed when printed in PLA. On the reverse are hexagon cutouts to test whether a nut would easily fit in a certain size. The number markings were difficult to see; filled with black paint would be the best way of making them stand out. May be of use to someone.

Though many people can print with Prusa nozzle without a fan, I am not one of them. In fact, other ducts I have used for the fan gave me poor results. This one seems to be what I was needing to get stable prints.
