Thank you so much for saying hello! I really appreciate it. It sounds like you have a very wide knowledge of early television.
I am trying to locate a physical copy (ideally a kinoscope (?) 16mm print, 2" tape or even a 3/4" from a later copy) of the Mike Wallace interview with Rod Serling.
https://archive.org/details/The_Mike_Wallace_Interview___Rod_Serling
This interview was done on September 15, 1959 and back in 2008 you uploaded a file showing it in its full glory. I would be grateful to know if you might be able to help me source it or track down whatever physical copy still exists. Do you happen to know if an original print / tape is in an archive or personal collection nowadays?
Wallace also interviewed Lorraine Hansberry on May 8, 1959 for WNTA. I have never seen this interview and it was not aired. I wondered if you might have seen it. Either way, I am grateful for your help and hope you have a good day.
Kind regards,
Rebecca

I'm afraid I am not going to be of much help. I got the Rod Serling interview in a trade years ago. it is the only Mike Wallace I have. I know a couple of people who might be able to help you more. May I forward your post to them.

Did you get a digital file of the Serling interview in the trade or did it include something nifty like a VHS or old tape format? If you are willing to chat with me offline about access to a tape - I would love to do so. Also, I would be happy to have you forward my post to the folks you know. Thanks!!
