Object of the game is to collect water droplets from the vine on
the left hand side of the first screen. fly into the droplets to
collect one, then fly to a seedling tree (small reddish plants,
theres one on the platform above the water vine on the first
Hover above the seedling with the water, bring the copter to a
standstill so its facing you. Press fire and the water droplet
will fall. A cloud will form and a tree will grow. Avoid the
You can gain extra time on the 2nd screen by flying into the
swaying flower. The butterflies at the bottom of this same screen
need to be 'chased' into the water!
You can die in many ways: running into mostly anything, except
for the first few seconds when you are 'charmed'. That's when the
helicopter is blurry. The bees are the 'nasties' in the game, and
will fire a missile or two at you. If they get really mad they
will shower them everywhere before burning up. It's not nice, and
to be avoided.
You have a set amount of time displayed as the round green lillys
at the top right of the screen, hearts on the left are your extra
lives left (on top of the one you're using).
Once you've grown the trees, herded the butterflies and avoided
the bees fly to the exit on the 3rd screen. The second level was
never fully completed so you're have to take your chances there.
You could stay on the first; but the second if it comes up is
worth a look. If I remember right I was making it about oil.
Parts are included with this code.
There was sound with this game too, the FM is working but the
digitised if there may require the CT VOICE soundblaster driver.
Ran this game on dosbox at 3000 cycles. It expects the soundcard's
base address to be 220.
Original computer was a 20+ Mhz AT compatible with VGA, and a
Soundblaster 8 bit card. I was using MS DOS 4:x at the time,
everyone wrote horrid about it. I quite liked it! The game
travelled with me to London in 1993 but it was already too old
for it's time. It's all yours now, just remember you use it at
your own risk. Not sure what that would be, but everyone seems to
say it when they release software or code so there. I've said it
Hope you find the code / game useful, have fun!
