see the classic anvil top of the convective showers as the moisture rises, freezes, turns into the ice crystal clouds that get pushed by the wind aloft. it's a very interesting view of an unsettled atmosphere. you see the view to the west. that was the reason why the stronger convective showers in the lower freezing level was a good producer for hail and ice pellets. right now the radar is pretty calm. the weather pattern for now is more out of the north. instead of what we had today, the cold front sweeping on by. somewhat dryer air coming on down. there is still a slight chance you may see an isolated shower along the coast tonight. the wind speeds have dropped off too. you see san jose only 7 miles per hour. gusts still at 21 miles per hour in oakland. the camera moving around a little bit. but not like it was this morning. 18-mile-per-hour winds into san francisco. so for now, seeing temperatures in the 40s tomorrow morning. some of the wind sheltered areas that clear out overnight. we'll have temperatures in the mid-30s, but turning even colder as we head towards the middle part o
