i spoke to one student at radford university yesterday.. who says he's one of the only students he knows that will be voting in the primary election. i'm one of the few. this is a recent thing, caring about the political elections and all of that stuff. but a lot of my friends don't even know who the president of our a lot of young people make a very rational observation, saying i don't know a lot about the candidates so i shouldn't go vote, i should leave it to people that know more. i would say it's really not that hard. there's plenty of info out there i know there's a lot it can be a little overwhelming, but do a little homework. it doesn't take that much. many college towns have made it easier than ever for students to vote. both virginia tech and liberty university have on campus voting districts-- so students never have to leave campus to cast their votes on tuesday. the town of radford is a little smaller.. so students there will have to head off campus to vote. coming up in out next half hour-- more on the vicious cycle in politics

radford university and v- m-i are all closed monday due to the storm. wsls ten's duke carter live in blacksburg this evening with the latest conditions. the main roads here in blacksburg are currently being plowed by public works crews since the snow began to fall earlier this evening. i drove around to blacksburg and christiansburg and there were several cars out driving to their destinations. we spoke some plowers here who will be working around the clock. they say they'll plow the parking lots like the one at the kroger on main street. workers say they just want to make sure people are able to get the items they need for their homes. we're just trying to take care of the roads and make sure everybody gets out safe and that we don't have any accidents and try to do a service for the people and take of the people and the parking lots, everybody drive safe and stay off the roads its supposed to be icy," plowers say they can be out working from 24 up to 48 hours at our next hit, while some are out working, we'll show how some are testing their vehicles f
