it is interesting to see sich is -- kasich. he doesn't have a lot of money or infrastructure and not states. it is an outliar and 50 percent higher than the second highest polling from a few district attorneys before p. and it shows he is competing, this is marco rubio's to come in second be place at the moment. >> the key of new hampshire and ohio, that is a launching pad for the other states and some of the campaigns are likely going to fold up if they don't do well in the two states. betsy, for instance ohio votes in midmarch is kasich's home state he could win all of those ohio delegates, that is just a month away and could be his launchpad? >> that is possibly. the ohio republican leadership is friendly to kasich and he has a lot of support and affection in that state. 2014 he won the gubnatorial reelect land slide. he's benefitted from the presidential race playing out. it is focusing on rhetoric and set on the nuts and bolts issue. and kasich is plain spoken and funny on the stump. but on the issues that primary voters,

kasich is in there, as well. i think the reason -- they are not beating up because he is not a real threat. >> he is tied with cruz. he should be dool really well. with hillary and bernie fighting here there is going to be a huge effort by hillary to attract independents to help her out. i think a lot of independents will be for bernie. so like usually one way or the other they go. >> the other thing about kasich is not too many people are hitting him now. he starts to do well in their view stylistically he is different. he has approached this thing in a different way from bush, from rubio and christie where he is like i'm not interested in fighting but interested in talking to voters. >> think about how many voters he is talking to. there is a big difference. it does matter. the thing with kasich is i think his problem is that his message is maybe really good for new hampshire. what if he won new hampshire? what would happen then? they have nothing going on. >> in terms of christie and kasich you don't hear much
