good morning, janine. >> reporter: good morning, dave. as you can see the home is still standing. much of the damage occurred in the attic where firefighters found a shrine with lights. there's damage to that room and all of the prayer items inside were destroyed. firefighters arrived and found flames coming out of the home near virginia. four people were inside the home when it started at 3:30 a.m. but were able to escape. the homeowner called 911 after hearing a crackling sound coming from the attic and seeing the fire. crews were able to knock down the flames within 2020 minutes and save the home -- 20 minutes and save the home. fire officials say it appears the fire started in the attic where a prayer room was set up with oil lamps. >> we make metal and put light there and pray over there. that's a prayer place. >> reporter: as firefighters were mopping up and examining the home, they discovered there were no working smoke detectors inside. they were concerned because the homeowner decided to stay in the house even though there's into

now to dave warren. >> it is the rain plus the constant northeast that is piling the water up in a lot of the back bays. so we're seeing minor coastal flooding. the storm causing this just off of the coast of north carolina. just to the north we're getting this rain, but the highest wind gusts there all the way up to atlantic city. inland wind gusts, 20, 30, 40 miles an hour, these are coastal flood watches, warnings and advisories there. this is a coastal flood warning for the high tide today. the high tide area was septemberable to flooding, you can certainly see that today. the rain will spread up to new york and become heavy, and it continues to come down, and finally you see it begin to move out, but that's not until friday. so it could be a rainy end of

good morning, janine. >> reporter: good morning, dave. well two deaths of workers have happened here at levy stadium which is -- at levi stadium which is slated to open in 2014. cal osha has decided to look over evidence again because more questions are being raised. cal osha says 63-year-old elevator mechanic donald white was standing on the ladder when the counter weight came down and hit him on the head. the agency revealed that white was in communication with the person operating the elevator and was aware the elevator was running but unclear why he didn't move if he knew the elevator was coming toward him. cal osha is also investigating another work related death that happened at the stadium last week. 61-year-old truck driver edward lake was killed when a bundle of rebar fell on top of him. investigators are still trying to determine whether or not to issue citations. cal osha can fine a company anywhere from $5,000 to $70,000. just depending on if they determine that violation was a general violation, if it was serious, or if it wa
