we have a wonderful city of san francisco. i know that we pride ourselves in being an international city. begins with celebrating all the diverse cultures and making sure everyone is recognized, that we have our education institutions reflect that, our cities, official events, reflected that but i know i have benefited greatly, not only as an attorney, but as someone who has worked in the city to have worked with so many leaders of the arab-american community. the business leaders have done very well here. knowing, also, the challenges that you face -- i also know there are so many examples of arab-american leadership in the technology world. just look at silicon valley and see how successful arab- americans have been. we are now recruiting those very companies to come to san francisco to make sure that we work with you for job creation. i am also very excited about so many small-business owners who are of arab-american descent. you have done so well in working in all of our different neighborhoods. i want to continue working

last week you may remember the city of san francisco told occupy san francisco that they could either take a place on mission street or they needed to leave the encampment. since that time it has been wait and see situation. the members of occupy san francisco did not want to leave that spot. a majority of them didn't want to leave. some say they want to take the place on mission street. the others say no. they went with the majority of what was going on. police gave them a week. we can come back out here live once again. you can see there is a big huge police presence. i will tell you one thing right now. earlier you see the clay pots behind us? earlier a lot of people took these clay pots and took some furniture and moved it into the street. that is when the problem took place right then and there. i'm not sure what happened with that. after awhile the people of occupy san francisco they were in the street and beating drums. everything seemed like a joyous situation. the other incident took place or something happened. i'm still trying to figure out what happened at that time. leadi
