kpix 5's andrea nakano is outside with new information for us. >> reporter: we are here at sun valley mall. police are still here investigating what happened. we are seeing employees trickle out even at this hour. concord police are saying that at this time there is no threat to the public. the shooting happened around 3:45 this afternoon. witnesses i talked with say they heard a large bang, did not know what was happening at the time but then saw people scrambling and running to get away from the scene. one store employee tells me people were rushing into her store just to get away from the shooter. we do not know at this hour what led up to the shooting, but we do know that one man was injured. >> they started running, running out. everybody starts running out. and there is a body half dead, bleeding a lot from his left side, of the lower body. >> reporter: now, the employee that i talked with said that she heard that the man that was shot is in stable condition. the shooter is in custody, but once again, this is an eyewitness account that has not been confirmed by the concord polic
