hunter's view is a city's first hope s.f. project to move forward. it involves the revitalization of the old 206 he seven unit hunters if you public housing complex. and an all-new mixed income san francisco neighborhood, with new infrastructure, 141 replacement of the old public housing units, no displacement, new affordable and market right units side-by-side, multiple new parks and play areas, and extensive new community space, part of what you are sitting at right now. our community room in our new community center. following our completion of phase one, just down the road in 2013, which included a new infrastructure park, and affordable housing, phase two includes $15 million in new infrastructure including new streets and sidewalks, underground utilities, all-new landscaping, and a new mini park on the other side of the childcare center. and 179 new public housing replacement and affordable tax credit units ranging from one topped out five-bedroom units to meet the needs of our community. a new community center, and a new mixed income childcare

her work helped form division of the new hunter's view and the hope s.f. program itself. i can testify that she never shrank from reminding us of our commitments to hunter's view, it's residents, in the community. so it is my pleasure to ask terrel tobias to come up and say a few words. we will be supporting s.f. environment and your offices to demonstrate what it is we're doing to plan for climate and resilience policy as well as supporting initiatives that would come out of that, whether it's investment in policy and the like, so we'll ensure that our long range transportation planning efforts are well planned to accomplish our climate goals. the vision zero committee, of course, chairman mentioned that, and we will be coordinating going forward in the next several meetings to really track the vision strategy, as well as chair yee mentioned, a last back to see how well we've been doing over the last few strategy updates. the county wide plan and direct s.f. does have a streets program, and director reiskin have focused on making sure we achieve that. i think deliveries and goods movement is very much coming to the fore for all of us. on project delivery, you'll note that the better market street has released its draft environmental market report. we've been working in conjunction to support

the only company that meets the requirements and mandated by s.f. shasha charger. taz is the only vendor awarded detailing contracts, all the others vendors being paid through prop q. authority. as vendors would violate city purchasing rules for contracts over $400,000. taz is the only vendor with a contract being excluded by the san francisco police department and other city departments through mar farley, the senior purchaser in o.c.a. office of contract administration, as well as brian young, his fpd fleet management. taz is the only qualified black car wash in san francisco that is being discriminated against. it has been discriminated against since 2014, to the present time. taz has filed a whistleblower complaint in 2,016, in 2016 for the same behavior, whereas essential shops forced taz to do horrible fittings, which is illegal. sergeant rick yee engaged in bid-rigging along with city purchasing departments. doing the bidding process for the carwash contract. we have been complaining about this since the award date. under written policy that the city departm

and they've spent some serious time at s.f. general and they have some serious needs. >> i'll let dr. o'leary address it. >> so the question is regarding how people receive follow-up after they leave the in-patient units. so everyone who leaves the in-patient unit is given a specific appointment for follow-up at -- with their out-patient provider whether it's a new one or an ongoing provider they have already had a relationship with. and there's a range of whether people will follow-up with those appointments or not. so what we're hearing is that 52% of people actually within seven days came into their appointment and were seen. given our -- i wish that number were higher, but given our patient population, that's actually -- i think that it's fairly reasonable. because there are a number of patients that even though we make appointments for them they tell us very directly that i'm going to see that person, i don't need that, i don't want it. so i think that the 52% -- again, we're working to try to make it higher. i think that

the good news is through the work of the city and advocates, s.f. has grown our shelter capacity to 2300 and our supportive housing units to 7700 with more in the pipeline. looking at the city's pipeline and shelter beds for 2020, we know that our bet case scenario is we -- best case scenario is we cut the waiting list in half and still have people waiting on the streets. in december 2018 california permanently adopted building standards for emergency standard response that approved emergency guidelines for emergency tiny home shelter cabins, insulated tents, allowing s.f. to lease public or private land to service organizations with a license agreement, insurance, and baseline state guidelines in order to develop and operate safe organized spaces, which is what was talked about jennifer and the coalition and is included in this definition. they operate in partnership with properties, neighbors and village residents and activate under utilized public and private land with license agreements, baseline health and safety standards, a built in process f

so we have been reimagining our earth day celebrations, so we are having an s.f. month of climate action. we'll be launching that on april 1, with the mayor, along with other announcements, so look for that, we'll give you more information once we have it. there will be a month of opportunities for all of us to participate, from planting trees to putting solar in to cleaning up the city. we're launching a website around climate action that people can do. it's also movies and lectures. there's so much going on in the city in april. we will let you know just like we did with gcas what some opportunities are for you to represent the city in april. and then, of course on april 24, which i hope you all have on your calendars, that is a closing reception, it is an evening reception in the green room where we will be celebrating a month of action and based on the work that you have done, the first ever mayor's environmental service award. so we will be launching that and mayor breed will give the first inaugural service award which we hope will be an annual event. we've

all the thanks to supervisor mandelman and his staff as well as all the sponsoring supervisors and s.f. environment and all the other city departments. we are all aligned with you and fully support this resolution. i think from the very large blue chunk of the pie chart that director raphael pointed out, that's why we're here. many elements of the city's multimodal transportation are vulnerable to sea level rise. we can't allow that to continue. we have to decrease emissions, and we won't be able to keep this city functioning in the future if we don't adapt our transportation system to the physical challenges that are coming with climate change. so thanks to our long-standing transit first policy, what we found as that san francisco reached its mode share goal with more than 52% of all trips to, from, and within san francisco using transit, bicycling, and walking. so this means that over half of the trips in the city are generating less than 2% of the emissions, so a very small piece of that pie chart. the muni system alone which is the greenest fleet in north america carries 26% of tr
