i want to talk about these kellyanne conway and i hate we have to talk about tweets with the transition team and the campaign because just tell us what you're thinking or where you're going or don't say anything at all. instead they send out tweets that maybe allude to mitt romney not being the choice and then maybe do allude. what's going on? >> i don't know. i'm done being surprised by things donald trump does. one thing is it goes back to trump's career in reality television and even when he was in real estate building up mystique around his project. you put out all sorts of ideas and rumors and some are true and some are false. when he was having a surprising flirtation with mitt romney, it could be a gambit to knock him down or placate people who like the idea that mitt romney might be secretary of state. on the other hand, you also have infighting within trump world and one way people in trump circle do is through public channels. that's one of the ways to reach him. so it's possible there's a disagreement about whether this is a good idea or not. >> and kellyanne trying to put he

i take kellyanne conway at their word when they say people are working together. kellyanne said it's a tall order trying to fill 4,000 administrations. past administrations have not come out with their picks at once. can a candidate president-elect who ran a campaign that was sort of on the out skirts of the republican party distancing itself from and criticizing the establishment, can they now fill out all these jobs. they need the establishment and all the resumes coming at them from washington, d.c. are establishment folks for the most part. there is a lot of mistrust there. mr. trump values loyalty. if you call him mr. trump, you necessary the mix. that's the thing. they are looking at the people. nikki haley are floating a lot. forever secretary of state and nikki haley. she is somebody who has kelly o'donnell just reported was a rubio person critical of donald trump. bringing the rest of the party is going to be tricky and there are a lot of moving parts. tar. >> this reminds me of the reporting about kelly ayotte being considered. that was coming and we got
