it happened in woodbridge in prince william county last night. a suspect shot and killed officer ashley guindon and injured two others. officer guindon was a former marine, who had just joined the force friday. she died during her first shift with the department. guindon and the other officers responded to the suspect's house for a call about a domestic shooting. kids who live in the neighborhood were playing outside when they heard the first gunshots.
