it would be a big blow, if he was third, below marco rubio. speaking of marco rubio, moving on. he is riding high since he was endorsed by nikki haley on wednesday. they were on the campaign trail today, and holding five rallies. this after scheduling challenges made him stand up to voters at the conservative review conference last night. there was an unforced error that drew fire. he rescheduled the event for tonight. there are a lot of eyes right now on young, marco rubio. so what constitutes meeting and beating expectations? mark: meeting is beating jeb bush. beating expectations is beating ted cruz, and, obviously the big casino, finishing first. i think -- marco rubio people , think that he was already riding high before the endorsement. reducing the image of trey gowdy, nikki haley, tim scott and marco rubio. my guess is if he is doing well, , he has momentum, dominating the news. john: i agree with all that analysis. i will say that meeting expectations will be a problem for him, because the ted cruz campaign will rightly say that the marco rubio computer is like crazy he

marco rubio came out swinging in the 10th g-o-p debate. he was on fire last night as he took on donald trump in the last g-o-p debate before super tuesday . as mary moloney explains other candidates attempted to claim the spotlight as well. ted cruz -- opened the gop debate at ease in his home state. so you've got marco rubio, 24.1%, ted cruz, 23.5%, 6,000 votes for marco rubio, 5,800 ted cruz. look at this dominance of donald trump, 42.4%. donald trump has sent out a tweet that said thank you nevada. trump touted his entrance poll numbers listing all the groups he won including latino voters. jim acosta has more from vegas. >> reporter: despite trump's attacks on marco rubio and ted cruz he barely mentioned them here. he says he will grow stronger as other candidates drop out. he touted his support among hispanic voters. >> we won the evangelicals, we won with young, we won with old, we won with highly educated and we won with poorly educated. i love the poorly educated. we're the smartest people, we're the most loyal people and you know what i really am happy about it because i've been saying it for a long time, 46% with the hispanics, 46%, number one with hispanics. >> reporter: next trump will focus on the super tuesday states that will have their say next week. his next stops virginia, texas, georgia and arkansas. he's posting a big presence in all of those states. cnn

marco rubio does the same thing. marco rubio is behaving like donald trump. at the debate i made three points -- number one, that marco supports granting citizenship to the 12 million people here illegally. it's a fact he said on the debate stage that he currently supports it and he acknowledged this may not the majority view in my party, but i, marco rubio, support it. he said on meet the press with chuck todd where he said he would grant citizenship to illegal aliens with criminal convictions. the first point i made about immigration is a fact. it is his own record, his own words. the second observation is in florida, he supported granting in-state tuition to illegal aliens. that is a fact. there's no gray area, no interpretation, it is a legislative fact. the third point i made, is marco went on univision in spanish and said on his first day in office, he would not rescind president obama's illegal acts. he said this on national television. it is this bizarre notion that words said on national television don't exist. marco's response was exactly the same -

marco rubio at 20%. carson, four. the value voters have been strong for ted cruz so far and are once again tonight as well. shares my values is the top quality that nevada republicans are looking for in a candidate. 4 and 10 of them are supporting ted cruz. there are the numbers on the screen and how they stack up in that category. we're seeing a higher turn out of evangelical voters in the state of nevada that we saw the last time around. we see ted cruz doing well with voters but donald trump doing better than ted cruz with the evangelical votes and you can see how the rest stack up there as well. another big question, of course, electability. it's been an important quality for people who support marco rubio. we saw that in iowa and south carolina. now, the florida senator is trying to make his case his best position in november, and nevada voters seem to agree. 55% say the florida senator is best positioned to win in november, you can see donald trump only 31, ted cruz, nine of those. late deciders we can see the c

and marco rubio coming in at third at 17 percent and it goes down from there. and johns kasich, of course, coming in with 11 percent, and ben car sl son, following closely at ten percent and then jeb bush at 4 percent, but this is a different picture than any other poll that we have seen, the cbs poll and this is much more in line with what we have seen as long as we can remember. it shows, donald trump as a front runner with 35 percent with the double digit number lead over every other candidate and ted cruz at second, and marco rubio coming in third, and more consistent with what we have seen, johns kasich coming in at eleven percent, and both of these polls were taken after the greenville debate, but experts say that you have to look at how these polls were down. methodology and did they include, cell phones, and because in this state, if you are not including cell phones, you are missing up to 55 percent of the people. and if it is an on-line poll and it is another group of people and that is potential that you missed with that type of methodology and how t
