it's 32 in winchester and leesburg. we're down to that freezing point but closer to the storm system. notice temperatures are still milder. it's 39 in orange right now and 45 in charlottesville. on satellite and radar you can see the approaching system and it doesn't have any wintery weather with it currently. so that will have to develop and since this system has so much mild air with it, it won't produce a lot of icy precipitation. you can see that here on 9 futurecast. you have to go all the way into boat make high land, even west of the divide -- boat make highlands, even west of the divide -- potomac highlands, even west of the divide. keep that in mind, if you have travel plans heading west towards places like maybe western maryland or west virginia or toward any of the ski resorts, they're not making snow this weekend. temperatures will be too mild. you can see the scattered showers continue to push through. next workweek they'll definitely be making snow. as we head into the afternoon tomorrow, we'll see pockets
