our team coverage continues now in leesburg rich how does it look out there? >> leon the snow definitely picking up now. we just want to show you we're right off edward's ferry road off route 50. i want to show you some of the grass to give you an idea not too bad. it's sticking on grass. when we look over the road over here edward's ferry road not a big deal yet. wet surfaces but vdot says it is ready. now, today we did visit a vdot facility off of route 7. they say they have between 650 and 700 trucks with salt and sand. add midnight they'll have about 1,000 trucks ready to go. and the district says it has about 200 snow plows that will be in service by 8:00 p.m. and in maryland about 2400 pieces of snow equipment statewide. most of the major thoroughfares around this area at least have been pretreated to deal with anything hopefully to keep this snow from sticking. loudoun, though expected to be one those hard hit areas especially when you get into those higher elevations towards the blue ridge. >> it's kind of a crap chute for us. at the same time we'll be

only 6 in leesburg. 8 in gaithersburg. lots of sunshine. that will make it look pretty out there. as you wake up tomorrow morning, this is what it's going to feel like. zero, below zero. not out of the question. but at least the winds will diminish just a little bit as they move through the midday hours, we'll crank those wind chills up into the lower teens in d.c. but it still stays cold out there. we have a bit of a warming trend or a warmup i should say as we move into the end of the work and school week. so for tonight, temperatures, actual air temperatures around 4 to 12 degrees. winds out of the northwest at 10 to 20 with higher gusts. that will make it feel so much colder out there, below zero for feels right temperatures. sunny, breezy and cold tomorrow to start your day as you head off to work or school. 20 to 26 definitely need an extra layer out there. the scarf, the gloves, the hat the works. winds on of the west. here's the extended outlook as we move through the next seven. 37 on friday. 28 on saturday. good deal of sunshine saturday and a few added clouds on sunday
