now, would it be possible for christie to win primaries in states like iowa and south carolina which is early in the primary calendar at this point? >> well, it's hard to say at this point state by state how christie would do. but the palin criticism of him isn't necessarily such a bad thing. i mean, in that same interview she actually criticized the pope for being too liberal. so he's in fairly good company there. the idea for christie assuming he's running is there's going to be a whole bunch of ted cruzs and rand pauls, and rick perrys and others in this race carving up that conservative vote which leaves an opening for a mainstream conservative. remember christie is a conservative republican, just not a ted cruz republican. >> no doubt about it. michelle, in line with what dana just said, glenn beck even had some strong words on the christie candidacy. take a listen. >> i will not vote for another republican like chris christie or mitt romney. i will not vote. i will skip it. i will not cast my vote for that. if our choice is chris christie or hillary, we deserve it. we're going

i wish that were true in south -- i wish that were true in south carolina but it is not. every commander whose advised to go to trial in sexual assault cases and who declines to accept the j.a.g., the judge advocate's recommendation that case is automatically sent up to the secretary of the service in question. so in the future, as commanders have to decide how to deal with sexual assault allegations when the lawyer tells them, sir -- ma'am -- this is a good case, and if for some reason the commander decided i disagree, that case goes up to the highest civilian member of that service the secretary of the air force in the case of my service. that to me, is a reform that will emphasize from the chain of command how important it is that we take these cases seriously. if we take the chain of command out, here's what we're saying, in my view. to every commander in the military you're fired. we the united states senate, have come to conclude that you the commander -- all commanders of the group -- are either insufficient to do this job intellectually or you just don't have the
