winds coming out of northwest helping filter in that cool canadian air and dry air mass that's been in place the past couple days. we had some chilly numbers the past couple days. we do have a bit of a warm-up headed our way, but first on the big picture satellite and radar showing this area of high pressure. so that's the area of clear dry air in charge now. it will stay in place as we head throughout the next couple days. we'll have a little cold front pass through from our north, but it won't bring us any rainfall, just a little extra cloud cover but not until later on tomorrow evening. so we'll expect another chilly start to your monday morning, but then we'll top now the low and mid-60s before it's all done. that cold front will pass through as we head into tomorrow evening. here's how things will play out into your tuesday. high pressure will then build in once again for tuesday and into wednesday. we may get a little extra cloud cover moving in wednesday associated with the system that will push towards us, but then some pretty big changes headed our way by the end of the week.

it's a clockwise flow around the high that directs that cold canadian air mass to us. right now, we are looking at 49 degrees. it's been fluctuating. we have a wind chill, with the north wind coming down here. and at around 5 to 10 miles an hour here in our particular location. taking the wind chill down to 40 degrees. almost a 10-degree swing in temperatures here in towson where we are on burke avenue. the temperature swing this week has been noticeable. let's tang a look at what we started at. sunday, we were just around the mid-60s. but we went into 67 degrees on monday. to give you perspective. the normal high now is 64. normal overnight low is 43. look at that graph and it gives you an idea of where we're headed. 64 tuesday. 58 on wednesday. we are expecting to be around 54 when the official numbers come in. today and tomorrow. and as you have seen, those overnight lows are dipping down very close to about freezing. we'll continue to keep you monitored on all the changes in the fluctuations in the temperatures. and we'll tell you when it's going to warm up just a
