The shell includes common features seen in other file managers such as copying, moving and renaming files as well as the ability to "launch" applications with a double-click. It originally was made for Tandy's TRS-DOS Operating System and for their TRS-80 line of computers, but eventually shifted to PC, where it was developed using C and Assembly. Like Windows (and other competitors from the time, such as GEM), it was not a full operating system, requiring a...

MS-DOS/Windows NL-INFO was a CD-ROM based version of the Dutch phone book, produced by Denda and TopWare. The product reached the news after a copyright claim by KPN Telecom, the Dutch national telecommunications provider. KPN Telecom claimed that they had the sole right to the phone number database, while Denda claimed that it was allowed to distribute the data because they had it re-typed in China from printed phone books. See, for example, the following court case: ECLI:NL:RBALM:2000:AA8920
