The Malware Museum is a collection of malware programs, usually viruses, that were distributed in the 1980s and 1990s on home computers. Once they infected a system, they would sometimes show animation or messages that you had been infected. Through the use of emulations, and additionally removing any destructive routines within the viruses, this collection allows you to experience virus infection of decades ago with safety.

From the MOCAGH.ORG site: "There are several "Video Game Museum" sites on the web, some much bigger and more elaborate than this one. So why have I decided to make this site? Aside from the obvious reason that I have too much spare time, this site offers something that no other site I have seen does, something invaluable to collectors. Being a collector myself for over fifteen years now, I always like to know if games in my collection are complete. While a few companies like...

3.6.1 is a general patch release. It includes a large number of fixes to the 3.6.0 version, all of which have been incrementally published on the public Git repository for the game. The DevTeam has decided that 3.6.1 will be the final "official" 3.6.x version, barring some sort of major issue that requires a new release. After this release, 3.6 will continue to be maintained in our Git repositories, however the team will focus on a new major release. Another 3.6.x release and packaged...

Started by Garrett "Mek" Dockery on August 20, 1999 out of his need to have screenshots for as many games as possible, the site was originally called Gamepics. On December 12, 1999 the first game scans were added to the site and they became so popular that by January 14, 2000 the sub-site Gamescans was online, followed quickly by merging off these two sites into the Video Game Museum, launching officially on January 26, 2000. Star Fox Adventures is a 2002 action-adventure game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo. Originally developed as Dinosaur Planet as one of the last releases for the Nintendo 64, Nintendo producer Shigeru Miyamoto convinced Rare to redesign the game for GameCube as part of the Star Fox. Acquired from a private game collector in Sweden, this ROM image is thought to be a late build of Dinosaur Planet before cancellation/rewriting. The game requires modification to be fully playable 100%,...

These pictures of Atari 8-Bit hardware were included on the Atari POOLDISK 1.0 CD-ROM and are in the public domain. They were on the CD-ROM in .PCX format, dated 1995, and converted to .PNG by Kevin Savetz in 2015. The resolution is pretty low, I suppose due to the nature of digital cameras in 1995. I am also uploading the original .PCX files in a .ZIP, though I'm not sure why you'd need them. The description in the pictures directory says: "In this directory, you see our collection of...

Latest version date: 2018/2/5 Reuploaded from SMWC in case if the user Alcaro decided to have smw's "source code" document consist of comments-only hosted on smwc because of the invention of a tool that can remove and add the source code along with the comments (you need a ROM to actually see the source code), thus making smwdisc "source-code-less", despite this being fair use for game modding. The purpose of this file is to aid in SMW modding, without this, it would be...
