This is a 32-bit Woof-CE build using Disco Dingo components as of 31-mar-2019 Should be considered Alpha quality for testing.....but is based on UPupBB and UPupCC so should be relatively bug free.... Rolling Eyes Kernel is 4.9.163 with firmware in an fdrv (no devx yet) Same mix of apps and look and feel to UPupCC - so included web browser is Light and is in the adrv.

Described by it's author rufwoof as 'somewhat like a Puppy - built using Debian Jessie KDE Features : Boots from USB and presents two boot choices. The default is that no changes are preserved, so whatever changes you make are lost at reboot (unless docs/data is stored on a separate device such as your HDD). However you can run "sudo flush2disk" in a terminal screen, or use the MENU, APPLICATIONS, SYSTEMS, flush2disk choice ... and all changes up to that point will be preserved...

A new Fatdog64 has arrived from Kirk and Jamesbond, Fatdog64-710 Alpha. James has been hard at work. The build system has been restructured, which among other things required altering about 1500 packages. The build system now supports a native 32bit library build. The wine package in the 710 repo supports running 32-bit and 64-bit. Everything has been updated/rebuilt/re-based. Highlights include gcc-4.8.3, glibc-2.19, ffmpeg-2.8.4, QT5 replaces QT4. Attached is a list with the package...

So say for instance you just want a bare bones system, you can remove the adrv & ydrv and get a small 180mb puppy. it can go even smaller if you use tahrpups firmware in the fdrv to something nearing 150mb. The newest offering from Barry Kauler's Quirky test bed built using Ubuntu Wily Werewolf (15.10) as it's base. "The "April" series of Quirky is compiled totally from source packages, using T2 (as described in above link). Nothing could be further from the truth. Quirky Werewolf...

Other than that, Quirky is in no way similar to Ubuntu! 8.0 has Linux kernel 4.4.7, SeaMonkey 2.40, and a host of applications to fill every need. As per...

Forum member nilsonmaroles has created PuppyOsx This puppy has been remastered based on X-tahr and this in turn tahrpup-6.0.2 CE with the Xfce desktop environment-4.12.x. Personalized with a MAC style to be more user friendly to normal as many criticize that of puppy linux. Of course this will request a little more of course requirements: Minimum 2GHz CPU and 1GB RAM for better performance. more details here: https://github.com/yoelispopo2006/puppyosx/blob/master/README.md
