Q & A Why do you think self love is important? Our thoughts and feelings and beliefs create our reality. What was the number one thing that was holding you back from accepting self love? I thought that it was going to be a really big job to accomplish and I didn’t feel I had the time or interest in trying to do that. Who is one person who has changed your life for the better? Ronda Burn, who created The Secret. Also Louise Hay, and her workbook. What is a self care habit that you practice regularly? I do a morning worksheet from my book. I write down how I want to feel. I write down ten things I am grateful for. I write down a couple things I want to accomplish that day. Then I visualize my day. Do you have a favorite quote? “Thoughts become things,” by Mike Dooley. Can you share with us a resource or an app that we can use to help our own self care practice grow? There’s a free meditation, The 6 Phase Guided Meditation, by Vishen Lakhiana that I listen to each day.
What book are you reading right now? The Big Leap, by Dr. Gay Hendricks
