From across the room, their eyes met. The dance music was blaring, everyone was with their not so interesting date. But, fate brought them together on that night. The were looking for a drummer, and they found him.
"They" were Sidd and Krishna, the roommate duo that had stood for remembering their glorious childhoods of the 80's. The drummer was Naveen, the guy who loved sleep more than anything.
After hearing Naveen's high school band, Sidd and Krishna invited him to be in the band. Naveen was hesitant because he thought sleep should come first. However, they convinced him to play in The School of Ruckus.
A couple weeks later, they played their first show - a talent show, in fact. After being disqualified for offensive lyrics, Ruckus decided to move foward with more gusto (and more offensive lyrics).
After a year of losing talent shows and playing for faithful fans, Raj added himself as a backup singer (only after trying out for keyboard and failing miserably). The year went on, and people still dug the music.
After saying "Pick me" in a geeky voice, ruckus added Vijay on keys. (He's excellent).
Yes, the names you hear are all Indian. Ruckus is made up of 5 fellas whose parents were born the Motherland of India.
