Ratt Pac Gangstas was started in 1993 by group artists Locsta and Rat Tat. During the down south struggle Ratt Pac grew up in 3rd ward Shady Oaks, right around the corner from each other. There they grew up listening to artists such as Ghetto Boys, NWA, and other down south rappers.
Watching other local rappers on-stage, Ratt Pac seems to get the crowd more hyper by the unique style of mic control. Ratt Pac's style of rap deals with southern hospitality, in a gangster-type way. The group has worked Freddie Young, Mike Collins, and Jackson Rapper Kage.
The quality of the music is perfect. Twenty-four digital tracks, deep baselines, hard-hitting lyrics and hooks you can't help but catch on to that repeat constantly. The rappers have been featured on Wild Life Society, Children Of The Cornbread, and with other local Jacktown artists. This is a thirteen track rap album, jamming all the way through. For this being their first solo album, this record should be a hit. Monetary Records has many more artists coming out too. So be on the lookout for Monetary labels on tapes.
Monetary stands for anything that you down with that's making money. $$$$$$$$ For booking contact Freddie Young 601-948-2098, e-mail rpg7296527@aol.com.
