Mosaic Blue
"...the message is out that girls can rock as hard as guys and with as much unnerving emotion..."- Dorissa Bolinski, BarFly Monthly
Mosaic Blue started when singer/songwriter Irene Visser answered an ad by electric guitarist Tonya Pavlesich who was looking for someone to collaborate with on original material. They formed a duo act captivating audiences with their originals as well as covers. Since then they have added Dave Black and Mike Linsey as drummer and bassist. Inspired by artists from Melissa Ethridge to Jimi Hendrix, the members have formed a unique sound all their own.
With the release of their debut album, I Can See, Mosiac Blue captivates the listener with honest lyrics that touch the heart and soul. Irene Visser writes about emotions stemming from past experiences. The album reflects a bit of rock, blues and pop combined into a sound too good to be categorized. I Can See was recorded and produced at Studio One in Lancaster, PA. The album features songs such as "Far Away," "HippyLand," "Father Time" and title track "I Can See."
