Physiochemical testing was performed on existing cement porter’s work wear i.e fabric weight, thickness of fabric, air permeability, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. Results indicated that most cement porters were not having protective clothing and existing work wear cannot meet the actual requirements. Therefore, there is a need to develop dustproof, thermal and moisture comfort, appropriate weight and thickness and easy to maintain work wear for cement porters.

Electro Discharge Machining (EDM) is an extremely prominent machining process among newly developed     non-traditional machining techniques for “difficult to machine” conducting materials such as heat treated tool steels, composites, super alloys, ceramics, hastelloys, nitralloy, nemonic alloys, carbides, heat resistant steels etc. In EDM, the material removal of the electrode is achieved through high frequency sparks between the tool and the work-piece immersed into the dielectric....

China has introduced and begun to implement the Japanese technique of Total Quality Management or TQM. Despite this, the level of production quality in China is poor. Although China has implemented the same quality management techniques and philosophy, a gap still exists between production quality in Japan and China. One of the reasons for this is that the degree of problem consciousness varies between employees of large enterprise and SMEs. Accordingly, the authors of this paper conducted a...

This research was carried out in order to test the influence of the Rhizobacterial culture on NaCl salinity tolerance in Cowpea plants at seedling stage. Rhizobacterial strains BR2 and BR3 were used to inoculate seeds of Cowpea (Vigna-unguiculata) varietiy (Pusa Sukomal). Seed germination percentage, quantitative analysis of proline, MDA and protein and protein profile was carried out in 7 and 15 days old seedlings exposed to 0, 25, 50 and 75mM NaCl salinity in both Rhizobacterium inoculated...

Aloe vera is one of the most popular and widely studied plants for its medicinal properties. In the present study, the cytotoxic effect of aqueous extract of Aloe vera was investigated by incubation of different doses of aqueous extract for 24, 48 and 72 hours in vitro using vero cells. The present study resulted in cytotoxicity in time- and dose-dependent manner as indicated by MTT assay, fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometric analysis and DNA fragmentation assay. Fluorescent microscopy...
