I have a different recording of this show, one which has been widely circulated for many yars. It is theoretically of a lower quality (mp3 compression and some distortion) but when it comes to the actual enjoyment, it's in fact much better and one of the best bootlegs I've ever heard.

The most important thing is that this recording does not capture the devastating punch of "World Police". The ending is actually one of the most intense moments in music ever, and there is a moment towards the end when someone in the audience screams loudly that is bone-chillingly amazing. Unfortunately, this recording fails to convey it (the scream can be heard in the background, whch is not the same).

that Festivus obviously does not understand Godspeed at all.

Even so, they never WANTED to make perfect sense anyway.

May be it is not your TYPE of Music. Music is well organized and has direction as well as purpose. :)

First of all the bands preformence is amazing. All the members compliment each other. The large ensamble that is Godspeed builds up to creschendos perfectly.

Second of all the taper was amazing. Great quality recording. It captures the energy of the preformence.

During the violin interlude halfway through the second track, Dead Metheny, one can make out the zippos in the audience flicking. Excellent execution of a beautiful composition, and with well positioned mics.

Disc 1, track 4 (d1t04) is "Improvisation" until 9:10. From 9:10 to the end (19:37) is "World Police and Friendly Fire."

On Disc 2, both of the first two tracks (2t01 and 2t02) are "Motherfucker=Redeemer." The remaining songs are correctly titled.

Le 4ième morceau nest pas une impro ou en tout cas pas totalement. La fin du morceau cest « world police and friendly fire »

Le 5ième morceau nest donc pas « world police » mais « motherfucker = redeemer » le premier du nom puisquil en a deux sur lalbum

Le 6ième morceau est aussi « motherfucker = redeemer » mais la seconde partie. Je suppose que cest la version du vinyl (que je ne connais pas) puisque cela fini par un discours de notre ami Bush

The artists are on good form - brooding, elegaic, poetic. & the recording is also high quality.

If you have never seen this band live then you are really missing a great experience, I saw them back in 2002 in Ft Worth with Bardo Pond at the Ridglea Theatre. Truely one of the best shows that I have ever seen and this show sounds just as good, it is good to have a site like this for hard to find live material that you cant buy in stores anyhow.

I personally do not like Festivus much, I think he lacks purpose and direction. This show, however, is kickass.

I personally did not like this show much, I do not mean to hate but all the other reviews were so positive I thought I should put in a note from the other perspective. This band's music lacks purpose and direction.

This is post rock at it's finest folks, and it sounds good too.

This is one of the best Music downloads i ever got off the net. It is such a good concert, these 20 minute songs that lift you into higher states, great! Amazing stuff.

This live was incredible. 3 hours of intense music. Even after 3 encores we were all asking for more. And this recording is of excellent quality. A must have.

Thanks for posting this show, it's a great band and they should be more widely recognized.
