My old cassette was labeled Practice Sessions, March 1985. I've had this cassette in my
collection since the late 80's. No noise reduction was used in this transfer. I left a
tiny bit of tape noise after the last track incase anyone wants to try any restoration,
but I don't think it needs much.
Side one ended with Green Onions and the first 20 seconds of UJB. Side two fades in
during the intro to UJB. I carefully edited UJB together to make it seemless.

Studio sessions are hit or miss. Being there would have been cool that is for sure.
This source is better quality than the other, which has garbled/eaten tape syndrome during at least UJB that makes it unpleasant to listen to.
One very cool thing is the out of Comes a Time Lost Sailor jam. Garcia talks about it a little. They did this 3 times I know of 11/1/85, 8/26/80 and 10/2/80, so he already knew it worked.
Some spacing out during the Playin' jam too that is sure to please the 80s heads.
No rating b/c it's just practice.
