The WAV audio files from the 1993 CD-ROM "999 WAVs for Windows" (ISO at https://archive.org/details/cdrom-999wavsforwindows) Archive.org will automatically convert them to MP3 and other formats, so the whole WAV thing is moot. The CD-ROM actually contains far more than 999 WAV files.
