There are many who experience homelessness in our city that choose not to go into the shelter system. But there is an alternative for these individuals. Safe Outdoor Spaces are temporary, managed campsites that provide shelter, wrap-around services, food and a community for those who become guests of the sites. We spoke with Cuica Montoya as well as a couple who found their way to the Park Hill SOS site after months on the street.
