Denver's plan called for a model of 24/7 access for guests in the shelter system. When the pandemic hit, the city and it's partners stepped up and accelerated delivery of this model to serve those experiencing homelessness. The 24/7 model provides more security, food, and shower and sanitary facilities for its guests as well as medical, dental, and mental health services, and access to case managers who can connect them to longer term solutions.
