In December, The Light the World Giving Machines gave Denverites a different way to give back at the holidays. One could purchase a winter coat, a necktie, or even a goat with each purchase going to help those in need in its unique way. Benefiting charities both here and abroad, those donating via the machines helped 17,240 individuals. Locally, patrons were able to give to The Denver Rescue Mission, Project Worthmore, Crowley Foundation and Jewish Family Services. Each organization was recognized during this presentation.
