Ramona Martinez was the first Latina to be president of Denver City Council, not once, not twice, but three times. During her 16 years on council, she helped oversee monumental changes in Denver, including the building of the Denver International Airport, Coors Field, the Convention Center, and growth within her own district. She talked to I Am Denver about the accomplishments she’s most proud of during her political career.
