Dare County Government has recently invested in a cutting-edge piece of equipment that will be used to compact construction and demolition (C&D) materials at the county's C&D Landfill located in Manns Harbor.
Unlike a typical landfill that accepts the disposal of household trash, the Dare County C&D Landfill is specifically designed to deal with the debris that is generated during the construction, renovation and demolition of buildings, fences, decks and other structures.
