Historic Hudson Valley's Pirates of the Hudson "Siege of Sleepy Hollow" July 2011
Pirates of the Hudson: The Siege of Sleepy Hollow is a raucously fun pirate festival for all ages. Gangs of musical pirates, gypsy sword dancers, and scally-wags of all sorts roam the grounds, performing and interacting with visitors.
Kids took part in treasure hunts and wandered through an old shipwreck with actual bubbling bubbles - lot's of fun. Mr. Grymm gave a tour of his museum of Oddities featuring Bob the fish boy- eech! There were swashbuckling sword fights, fun pirate toys and jewelry, tasty pirate food, Captain Lawrence's fabulous homemade beer and gypsies, tattoo shoppes, cannons firing and so much, much more.
Pirates of the Hudson will return in 2012!
