The rotary tool is an extension to the laser cutter here at Ovitt Family Community Library. It works by unplugging the Y axis translational movement of the machine, and plugging in the extension which will convert the Y axis movement to a rotational movement. It works completely the same as a regular laser etch job, with the only difference being measuring the circumference of the section that will be laser etched and setting that up as the limitation parameters of the job.
