David Cook worked with Darren Wheeling to create Robot Bumblebee: Back Beyond Keon. Written by David Cook. 1993. (I love the Robot Bumblebee series, and this one is exceptional.) Sam wrote, directed, and illustrated, and the two of them animated it, completing the project in August 1992. Michael Jackson stopped by the museum for an official visit (BAD era), and staff captured his time in the U-TV interactive television studio. Not terribly interesting, but he poses with museum director Ann Lewin, MediaWorks director Stan Woodward, video producer Jesse Vaughn, and others while a Fairlight operator plays with effects. For some reason, this tape was made into a loop, and repeats for quite a while. Weâll spare you the full effect. April 4th 1990. He gave us all LA Gear shoes, btw.
