A line of severe warned storms came across the metro in the evening which put us under a Sever Thunderstorm warning and a Tornado warning for the adjacent county. The outdoor warning sirens can be heard early in the recording for the Severe Thunderstorm warning and then later from the adjacent county for the tornado warning. Rainfall rates at the beginning of the storm were measured by my weather station at 8.6 inches per hour and we got about 1.25 inches in a half hour. Luckily we didn't get much wind so there was no damage.
