The 2020 Census indicated a 14.2 percent deviation in Sarasota County Commission district populations. The Commission unanimously voted to redraw district lines this year.
Sarasota County is now accepting maps for consideration of new commission districts. Maps will be accepted from Oct. 1-11 at scgov.net/redistrict.
