#SRQCounty celebrated the opening of The Legacy Trail Extension Segments 1 and 2 on Oct. 7. Segment 1 extends the Legacy Trail from Proctor Road north to Bahia Vista Street, and Segment 2 makes the connection between the existing Legacy Trail and Segment 1 and provides continuous trail connection from Venice Train Depot to Bahia Vista Street.
The trail supports more than 400,000 users each year and has become a destination in Sarasota County, drawing in people from everywhere, much like our world-class beaches and sports tourism. #SRQCountyParks - #SRQCountyProjects
